Visit to the Imprisoned

Auxiliary Bishop Peter A. Libasci of Rockville Centre, celebrates Mass for female inmates at Suffolk County Correctional Facility in Riverhead, L.I., Dec. 19. During his visit to the jail, the bishop presided at two Masses, confirmed six men, heard confessions and met with incarcerated mothers and their infants. Bishop Libasci is a native of Queens who attended Cathedral Prep Seminary in Elmhurst.
