Curtis-Reed Bill Is Opposed at Hearing by Noted Educator -
Brooklyn Woman Heard on Bill - Mrs. McGoldrick Was One of Few Permitted to Address Committee
“Mrs. Thomas A. McGoldrick, Regent of the Brooklyn Council of the International Federation of Catholic Alumnae, was one of the half-dozen permitted to address the Senate and House Committee on the Curtis-Reed Bill last week. Although there were several hundred opponents of the measure on hand, the committees so allotted the time that the opposition force had only a brief period to place forward the arguments. For this reason about all of the testimony against the measure was submitted in writing.”
