Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz, president and sole member of the Yiddish Sons of Erin, hosted a St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast at Brooklyn Borough Hall on Friday, March 16. Bellard Memorial Award; Margaret Keaveney, former director of communications at Catholic Charities, who was named the Irish Woman of the Year; main speaker, Kings County D.A. Charles J.
