IN 1958, The Tablet staff celebrated the newspaper’s 50th anniversary with a gala dinner at the Hotel St. George in Downtown Brooklyn. Editor Patrick F. Scanlan and Bishop Bryan J. McEntegart can be seen seated at the head table. Current Associate Publisher Frank DeRosa, who had just joined the staff of the paper, is seated in the center of the photo. A future Editor, Don Zirkel, is seated behind him.
