St. Patrick’s Day Parade In Bay Ridge

The 15th annual Bay Ridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade honored Kings County District Attorney Charles “Joe” Hynes as Grand Marshal. Deputies to the Marshal included: Thomas Gottlieb, JoAnne Gunderson, Patricia Callahan, Eileen McConeghy, Theresa Cassidy, Barbara Slattery, Robert Long, and Erik Manning. The festivities, which were held on Sunday, March 30, began with 9:30 a.m. Mass celebrated by retired Auxiliary Bishop Joseph M. Sullivan at St. Patrick’s Church. The line of march started at St. Patrick’s and continued down Fifth Ave. to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Basilica. Below, D.A. Hynes poses with St. Patrick’s pastor, Msgr. Joseph P. Nagle.
