Holy Name Recognition Day

 

Auxiliary Bishop Ignatius A. Catanello was the main celebrant when the Diocesan Union of Holy Name Societies celebrated Holy Name Recognition Day at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn. Below, Msgr. John Strynkowski, rector of St. James, proclaims the Gospel; Phil Catapano of St. Columba’s parish, Marine Park, does the first reading and Jerome Phillip of St. Francis of Assisi-St. Blaise parish, Crown Heights, does the prayers of the faithful.
