Pro Sanctity Movement Is 60

Three members of the Pro Sanctity Movement, a community of consecrated life located in Our Lady of Miracles parish, Canarsie, will be honored at a dinner marking the movement's 60th anniversary at Giando's, Williamsburg, Sunday, April 22, at 3 p.m. Shown are the honorees and priests who have served in the parish: seated, from left, Msgr. Raymond F. Chappetto, Angela Di Paola and Father Thomas F. Leach; standing, Father John J. Costello, Giovanna Piccioli, Giuditta Coccia and Father Steven J. Aguggia. Founded in Italy in 1947 by Servant of God Bishop William Giaquinta, the movement established a presence in St. Barbara's parish, Bushwick, in 1965 and moved to Canarsie in 1975.
