The Communion and Liberation movement conducted its annual Way of the Cross, beginning at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn, and moving across the Brooklyn Bridge to Ground Zero, the site of the former World Trade Center, Manhattan. Marchers were accompanied by Auxiliary Bishop Ignatius A. Catanello. In Manhattan, they were joined by Archbishop Celeste Migliore, the representative of the Holy See at the United Nations.
