May Crowning in Bensonhurst

St. Athanasius parish, Bensonhurst  celebrated its May Crowning of the Virgin Mary on Monday evening, May 21. Msgr. David Cassato, pastor, led the service. He was accompanied by Fathers Gerald Umoren, Gabriel Toro, and Deacon Dante Colandrea. Children who made their First Holy Communion and those who will receive Confirmation participated in their sacramental gowns. The Rosary was prayed in English, Italian and Spanish.
