St. Agnes Grad Snags

Science Honors

Stephanie Auman, a recent graduate of St. Agnes Academic H.S., College Point, is the first place winner of the New York State Science Honor Society Scholarship Program. This young lady ranked No. 1 among the 25 entrants.


Auman received an award of $750 and plans to put it to good use when she attends St. Joseph College, Clinton Hill, in the fall. She looks forward to pursuing a career in the field of immunology.

FHA Junior Earns

Italian-American Award

Congratulazioni to Vivian Cassarino, a junior at Fontbonne Hall Academy, Bay Ridge, who won a $1,000 Edward Cardinal Egan Scholarship from the Tri-State Italian-American Congress.


Cassarino’s academic excellence, Italian-American heritage and personal essay outlining her goals and commitment to serving her Italian-American community in the future were among the many requirements she met to earn this honor.
