The Long Island Assembly, Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus conducted its annual Independence Day Parade on Saturday, June 30, in Bay Ridge. The line of march proceeded down Third Ave. to John Paul Jones Park in the shadows of the Verrazano Bridge.

Father John Brogan, the diocesan director of the Propagation of the Faith and chaplain to the Long Island Council of the K. of C., was presented the Knights of Columbus’ Pro Patria Award.

Sir Knight Anthony Palazzolo, a member of Archbishop John Hughes Council, Dyker Heights, was the Grand Marshal. He is shown, being congratulated by Richard Oakes, Faithful Navigator. Michael Petolino, Grand Knight of Cavallaro Council, served as parade chairman for the second straight year.
