Celebrating The Tablet’s 100th Year

FROM THE TABLET PHOTO FILES OF MAY 12, 1962: In Amityville, ground was broken for Queen of the Rosary College, which would offer a sister-formation program for junior professed members of the Dominican Order. The building was also to serve as a novitiate. The ceremony began in the motherhouse chapel and postulants, novices, Sisters and clergy marched in a long procession to the site.
