Guadalupe Feast in Bay Ridge

On the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dec. 12, the Hispanic community held a candlelight procession from St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Bay Ridge, carrying the image of the Blessed Mother down Ridge Blvd. turning toward Our Lady of Angels Church where Auxiliary Bishop Frank Caggiano celebrated Mass. Many children were dressed like the little boy at left, as St. Juan Diego, or in native costumes from Mexico.
